Art Blocks Engine provides white-labeled generative minting technology to brands, organizations, and artists. Our Web3 infrastructure solutions allow storytelling, community, and culture to ignite.
Art Blocks Engine is our partnerships product focused on providing white-labeled generative technology to brands, organizations, and artists. With the launch of Engine, we’re doubling down on our effort to fuel the future of creativity and bring more generative design to the world through meaningful partnerships with global brands and businesses.
Art Blocks Engine powers platforms like Bright Moments, Plottables, Doodle Labs, Flamingo Flutter, and ARTCODE. We also work with some familiar artists like @shvembldr, @numbersinmotion, and several others in development. These partnerships have been crucial in understanding broader opportunities and our role in championing new and novel use cases for generative design tech.
We’re at the cutting edge of web3, culture, and technology; the magic of minting generative art has created a special community here at Art Blocks, and with Art Blocks Engine, we hope to help bring that joy to new communities in fun and exciting ways.
Engine vs. Flex Engine
Our Engine product has two offerings—Engine and Flex Engine.
Until now, all partner projects were required to be 100% on chain (Engine). You might recognize projects like 100 Print by Ben Kovach released through Bright Moments, or Really Random Rock by @DCA released through Plottables as examples of current Engine projects.
Our new offering is Flex Engine, which allows generative scripts to reference off-chain assets stored on distributed file storage protocols like IPFS and Arweave.
This new product category will open the doors to incredible generative experimentation in areas like photography, AI, recorded audio, video, and more.
What does this mean?
Our dream is you’ll see some of your favorite brands using our Engine technology in the near future. We’re also supporting artists who want to own their smart contracts, enabling them to take chances, experiment with new drop mechanics, edition sizes, and redefine what it means to be a creator in this ecosystem.
How can you help?
Art Blocks Engine is currently focused on partnerships in fashion, media, events, sports, fine art, and gaming.
If you work in one of those industries or have a killer idea, reach out! We’d love to brainstorm ways you can use generative design technology in your product and for your community!
